The community

Since June 2017 Con Pazion has been active in the community in Manchay. The unprivileged children and their parents have received hundreds of workshops in the past years. Weekly workshops about self-love, empowerment, yoga and nature were taught to a group of 25 children. The children and their parents also featured in the RPP documentary “La Otra Ruta” about Con Pazion that was broadcasted on Peruvian national television. Until this day we’re still connected and support several families in this community.

Since 2025, we have been working in a neighboring village. Initially, we worked in a public school, and since February 2026, we have been working in an orphanage. Our primary and professional work is to improve the quality of education at the orphanage school and to train teachers in holistic education, thus effectively and compassionately addressing the challenges they face when teaching children with complex needs.

Because the orphanage is more than just a school, we are considering starting a volunteer program. The workshops could be held after school and on weekends.
