Orphanage (aldea)

Con Pazion operates in an orphanage near the capital, Lima, which also houses a school with approximately 150 underprivileged students. We are committed to helping the most vulnerable children in Peruvian society, who are often banished or removed from their homes at a very young age and placed in the orphanage, where they also receive education.
To successfully realize this project, we depend on sponsors and committed partners. With your contribution, we can, among other things, provide trainers who coach the teachers. Our trainers will focus on the challenges teachers experience in teaching due to the students' complex needs and the consequences in the classroom. The trainers will address both social-emotional and cognitive challenges.
The Con Pazion Foundation's guiding principle is a holistic approach to children. We work with heart, mind, and hands to make the children resilient, assertive, and self-confident so they can reach their maximum potential and hopefully have a bright future and make a significant contribution to Peruvian society. We work directly with the teachers to create a lasting impact that will last for years. The orphanage students will also receive workshops that tie in with holistic education, such as yoga, in English for the older children and in Spanish for the younger ones. Furthermore, we believe it's important to incorporate nature into the program. The orphanage grounds are ideally suited for this, as they include both a farm with animals and a vegetable garden.
